About QuickToolz
QuickToolz is a collection of 80+ free online tools — calculators, text utilities, developer tools, image editors, and PDF processors — built around one belief: simple digital tasks should never require an account, a download, or an upload.
Why we built this
We got tired of the same experience everyone has: you need to compress one image or check one EMI figure, and the "free" tool wants your email, shows a fake progress bar while uploading your file to who-knows-where, then holds the result behind a signup wall. So we built the site we wanted to use — fast pages, tools that start instantly, and no dark patterns anywhere.
How the tools actually work
Almost every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using standard web technologies: the Canvas API for image processing, Web Crypto for hashing and password generation, PDF.js and pdf-lib (the open-source engines behind Firefox's PDF viewer) for PDF work, and plain JavaScript for calculators and text tools. Your files and data are processed on your own device and never transmitted to our servers. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and use any tool — you'll see no file uploads.
Two clearly-marked exceptions use external APIs because browser-only processing isn't feasible: the AI background remover (Remove.bg's segmentation model) and the spell checker (the open-source LanguageTool engine). The currency converter fetches daily exchange rates but never sends your amounts anywhere. Every affected page says so plainly.
What data we process
For browser-local tools: nothing reaches us — your data exists only in your browser tab's memory and is gone when you close it. Site-wide, we collect only anonymous, aggregate analytics (page views, country, device type) to understand which tools people find useful. We never sell personal data. Full details are in our privacy policy.
Was AI used to build this site?
Yes, and we think you deserve to know how. We used AI coding assistants to accelerate development of tool logic and to draft explanatory content, with human review of every formula, conversion ratio, and claim. The math in our calculators follows published standard formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor for BMR, Naegele's rule for due dates, standard amortization for EMI, and so on), each named on its tool page so you can verify it independently.
How the site stays free
Display advertising — that's the whole business model. We keep it deliberately restrained: a maximum of three ad units per page, never inside a tool widget, never popups or auto-playing video. That revenue covers hosting and lets every tool stay free without limits.
