Terms of Service
Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using QuickToolz (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by the QuickToolz team ("we", "us").
2. The service
QuickToolz provides free, browser-based utility tools — calculators, text and developer utilities, image and PDF processors. Tools are provided for lawful personal and commercial use, free of charge, supported by display advertising. We may add, modify, or discontinue tools at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including processing content you have no right to process; (b) attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service; (c) scrape or bulk-download the Service's content for republication; (d) use automated systems to abuse API-backed tools; (e) circumvent technical protection measures on files you do not own or lack authorization to modify. You are solely responsible for the content you process with the tools and for your compliance with applicable laws.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to files and data you process with the tools. Because processing happens in your browser, we never receive, store, or claim any rights over your content. For the API-backed tools (background remover, spell checker), content is transmitted to the named third-party processors solely to deliver the result, under their respective terms.
5. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Calculator outputs, conversions, and generated content are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, medical, legal, or professional advice. Verify important results independently — especially health calculations (consult a medical professional) and financial figures (consult your lender or advisor).
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
7. Intellectual property
The Service's design, text, branding, and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Open-source libraries used by the tools remain under their respective licenses. You may link to any page freely — deep links to tools are welcome.
8. DMCA notice
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@quicktoolz.com including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (3) your contact information; (4) a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized to act; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond promptly, including removal where appropriate.
9. Third-party services and ads
The Service displays third-party advertising and links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or privacy practices. Ad interactions are between you and the advertiser.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. We may suspend access to users who violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time — nothing to cancel, since there are no accounts.
11. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by applicable law in the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: hello@quicktoolz.com or the contact form.
